A specialist Kubota Agricultural sales and service centre that also stocks second hand tractors and machinery and carries out repairs on many makes and models
Trading for over 40 years and spanning two generations, the business has seen many changes over the years. Starting in the early days with Fordson Majors and moving with the times up to the 2000’s with Ford and MF.
The business was started by Chris Cradock who, equipped with a 1970’s series 2a Land Rover and tool box, travelled around to local farms carrying out repairs.
In the late 1970’s Chris acquired a yard in nearby Kettle Lane, in exchange for carrying out maintenance and repairs for the land owner, where he built his first workshop. Having outgrown this location, in 1983 the business moved to its current site where it has steadily grown.
Chris’s son Roy officially joined the family business after completing a Btec national diploma in land based engineering. Now a partner he is heavily involved in all aspects of the business along with his wife Jo, who works with Kay in the office.
In 2009, after a visit from Kubota UK LTD, the decision was taken to take on a tractor franchise to supply alongside our existing machinery franchises. The Kubota tractors soon took off and today we are able to offer a huge range including smaller L series and the RTV range.
